ATTN: This holder was originally designed for me. I have a solid wood wall that it is screwed to with a screw behind each bar.

If that is not your use case, we need a slightly wider base plate to hit 2 studs.

Also note the 45# bar is not hanging but sitting on the floor and leaning in the slot. I’m not confident pine is strong enough to hold heavy bars over the long term. The short ones however, should be just fine.

I tried A Shou sugi ban or burned finish on mine. you can probably see where I just moved it on my wall and it still left marks on my wall. I made this about a year ago so I don’t think I will use that method again.
