We must shut down the crippling habit of perfectionism.

As a firm believer in the Pareto principle, I strive for 80%. Usually, I can’t help but do a little more and hit 85 or 90%.
Beyond that, the last few percent is going to take dramatically longer.
The thing is, that’s not just good enough, that is excellent.
I usually thrill the customer with my results. Why?
Really look around. Most of us perfectionists compare our work to the absolute best.
Most people put in 50% effort at best.
Comparing yourself to others isn’t always a bad thing if you are comparing yourself to the average.
Especially if it makes you realize you are good enough.
Not only is 80% hitting the sweet spot of taking forever vs. getting things done,
It’s also stellar work.
